Please expect to meet completely different people from who we were before this tour.ĭoing shows in small stand-only venues compared to large seated ones are quite different experiences, but in each one of them, what things would you consider important? Kazami: This is the day where the fruit of our labor will be clearly manifested. I will make people say “This is the first time I see DaizyStripper like this!” on that day. Rei: I will put every drop of energy I have into it. Mayu: This outstanding album embodies my pride regarding our 13 years together, so I will put all my strength into this final show! So much so, that in the future, people will say that DaizyStripper were god-like during their 13th year. Nao: I will show you what real happiness is. “Congratulations on your 13 years of activity, you did great DaizyStripper”. I will make the stage a place for me to fill with laughter, but also a place to shed a few drops of tears.
Yuugiri: In order to create the ultimate tour, the greatest smiles and cries are essential. On June 5, the last show “GRAND FINAL” will take place at Yokohama Kannai Hall Dai Hall.

I think a large stage is what suits DaizyStripper most because we are full of confidence after all. For this tour, we chose large venues with high ceilings-a step up from previous venues. There are various challenges but I think people can enjoy them musically and visually. Yuugiri: We want to challenge things we have never done before during shows. What is your vision, or what are your goals for this tour? Your tour “DaizyStripper 2020 TOUR INFINITY CHALLENGER ~Don’t seek for correct answers, but rather new answers~” started the same day as the release of the album on March 1. Nao: We invited fans to be part of it and performed the same way we do during regular shows with maximum enthusiasm, without pacing ourselves. We realized that whether it be arrangement or composition, everything has to be done for that sake.Ĭould you tell us an anecdote about the music video for “INFINITY”? Kazami: I think it’s like that now, we always consider what we want to get across in the song-the “thing” we want to convey. Based on this experience, would you tell us if you feel something different, a kind of progression regarding the musical arrangement of your upcoming works? You received the support of guitarist Ken of L’Arc~en~Ciel as a sound producer for the single “4GET ME NOT”, released in 2018. Rei: Our most recent songs are made in the coolest way possible so people can easily get into them! Assuring that we’ll become one with the audience. The rhythm and tempo of DaizyStripper’s new songs are quite speedy, and we feel they have been created this way to allow you to become one with the audience during shows.
As DaizyStripper, the light we want to spread is overflowing, so we would be very happy if people could receive it by listening to our music and become a part of our own strength. Mayu: I think we were animated by a power so big it propelled us forward. In the title song “INFINITY”, we can feel not only DaizyStripper’s determination but also a message to the fans who always supported you. The best of DaizyStripper is packed into this album. After we finished the previous album HOME, I already wanted to name our next work INFINITY because I can’t see any limit to the future of this band. Yuugiri: I feel an infinite potential in this band, endless possibilities. Would you tell us more about the meaning behind the name of the album, “INFINITY”? Nao: In order to surpass our past selves, we have begun turning anything that comes to us into a challenge, without thinking about why we shouldn’t do something. But this is exactly why we can be proud of delivering a genuine album without any sort of lies.Īfter such a long time, are there any changes regarding the way you consider DaizyStripper, the way you think about the band? Managing the band was definitely a learning experience and required a lot more effort than we originally thought. We, the members, and staff started again from the beginning. After leaving the agency we were working with for such a long time, we became independent. Would you say this long period was a great turning point for DaizyStripper?
